Il videogioco multipremiato per insegnare ai bambini siriani a leggere l’arabo.

Nel 2017 con Videogames Without Borders in collaborazione con il Cologne Game Lab, abbiamo creato un prototipo per partecipare ad un bando internazionale per crare un videogioco che potesse dare supporto psicologico ed educativo ai bambini siriani.

Abbiamo poi vinto tutte le fasi del concorso, allargando il team di sviluppo fino ad essere in 30 distribuiti in tutta Europa, Marocco e Libano, e a Marzo 2018 siamo stati premiati durante la Mobile Learning Week dell’UNESCO e in seguito una dozzina di altri premi in ambito Serious Games, Educational Game e Humanitarian Game (Game 4 Change, TechFugees, Social Impact Now…).

Il gioco è totalmente open-source ( link GitHub ), progettato e realizzato con la massima cura e test “sul campo”, nei campi profughi e nei centri dei rifugiati in europa.

Stiamo tutt’ora lavorando a delle evoluzioni del gioco, per insegnare inglese, francese, marocchino, e presto Pastho e Farsi, in diverse nazioni del mondo.

Sono molto orgoglioso di questo progetto di cui ho curato molti aspetti in tutte le sue fasi di produzione e coordinamento.

Voy a La Noria is a puzzle game in which we simulate the work carried out by the La Noria Social Innovation Center in the province of Malaga. In each game we will have to try to achieve the maximum social impact in the province of Malaga, locating different projects so that they carry out their work optimally and have the greatest possible social impact in the territory.

Adult education plays a critical role in helping refugees overcome barriers and find prosperity in their new communities. Gaining the knowledge and tools to face these barriers is key to securing long-term employment and to their overall well-being.

Using innovative game based learning methodologies, the Erasmus+ funded IEEDO project aims to reduce the disparity refugees and humanitarian migrants currently face in European adult education, helping them to develop skills and knowledge for digital self-learning. Thus, building resilience through innovative customised eLearning resources. The project will also support adult/ community education providers and tutors, to reduce the disparity individuals face in European adult education.

Unwanted - the womb escape: in this game you live the life evolution of a girl from a small village in India. You will evolve by floating in a womb like environment, avoiding the negatives and embracing the positive of life.

This girl was supposed to be a boy as testified by an exam. That is why she was not suppressed after ultrasound analysis, which technological evolution and aggressive marketing brought to places where it was not available before, with unforeseen consequences.

The game is a 3D rummer inside a “womb”, where your game life is powered by rhythmic tapping on music. You play by pressing the space bar in sync with the music, which brings you forward, and by intersecting positive objects and avoid negative ones. At level end you get to subsequent phases of life.

Diversifiers

Approved for All Audiences: The game must not show any violence, not even cartoonish. Stepping on living mushrooms is off the list, as is killing any type of enemies, not even undead, though we know they’re already dead…
Bigger Picture: The game touches on a political, environmental or social issue.

L’album Lorenzo 2002 – Il quinto mondo conferma l’equilibrio tra l’amore e l’impegno politico e sociale nelle canzoni di Jovanotti. Il singolo “Salvami” affronta temi come il pacifismo, la globalizzazione, la giustizia verso il Terzo Mondo e l’ambientalismo. Il tour “Quinto Mondo” è caratterizzato dalla presenza di 17 musicisti sul palco, culminando in un concerto-evento promosso per la tutela delle acque del Gran Sasso.

Ho suonato nella band di 17 super musicisti (tra cui Saturnino, Giovanni Allevi, Marco Tamburini…) in italia e in Europa.

Nel 1999 sono stato chiamato da Franco Battiato come tastierista / programmatore per il tour Gommalacca, un album particolarmente “giovane”, elettro-rock.

Oltre al tour italiano abbiamo fatto diverse televisioni, Sanremo con una performance memorabile e poi il Capodanno 2000 in Calabria.

Non ho molte foto o video.. ai tempi non si usava fare troppe foto ;) ho recuperato queste registrazioni.

NB: ero l’unico tastierista! potete immaginare la responsabilità, l’onore e l’onere. E intanto parlavamo di società, di antiche religioni, di nuovo umanesimo.

i started coding (basic, assembler and Machine Code) with the Commodore 64.
But it was the Amiga 500 that opened my multimedia passion.

While in high school, i learned to develop and worked on several Amiga video games with Lindasoft publisher.
mostly AMOS (the Amiga version of STOS), a precursor of Director.
